Editorial policy

This policy governs public research on NV Digital Consulting. It exists so readers can tell who is accountable for a claim, when it was checked, and what we will not invent.

Who is responsible

NV Digital may use software and AI tools to organize research, outline drafts, and edit language. Named human authors or editors remain responsible for sourcing, factual verification, recommendations, and the final decision to publish. Articles are not published because a model produced them, and they are not described as entirely human-written when tools assisted.

What we publish

Research & Insights covers Virginia and Northern Virginia SEO, AI search visibility, local-business Google Ads, and website strategy, technical SEO, and conversion. We publish when an article has a named author, a completed research packet, verified important claims, and human approval. We do not publish to meet a calendar quota, to simulate freshness, or to multiply near-duplicate pages across cities or industries.

Sourcing and case studies

Quantitative, historical, algorithmic, legal, platform, and case-study claims are recorded in a claim ledger with supporting sources. Public case studies may be analyzed and must be attributed to their original publishers. Another company's results are never presented as NV Digital's work. Placeholder citations, fabricated statistics, invented testimonials, and fake quotations are not allowed.

Experience and results

We do not invent first-hand experience, client counts, revenue figures, awards, or outcomes. If a recommendation comes from NV Digital's service work, it is described in those terms. If it comes from a third-party source, the source is named.

Updates and corrections

Publication dates and meaningful update dates are recorded. Material corrections are dated. Dates are not changed automatically to make an unchanged article look new.

Internal links

Articles may include a small number of contextual links to NV Digital service, location, or research pages when those links help the reader act on the analysis. Links are not added to meet a count, force exact-match anchors, or pass PageRank through stacked links.

Search guidance we follow

Editorial decisions are informed by Google's public guidance on helpful content, spam policies, generative-AI content, and crawlable links. Those documents are references, not copy we reproduce here.
